Senior Citizens for 2nd occasion is reintroduced for the period 22.09.2008 to 20.12.2008. The details as below :
Scheme-1
50% discount on Sancharnet Accounts of any value to each of desiring Physically
Handicapped person and Senior citizen. Discounted price of various Sancharnet Accounts
to Handicapped / Sr. Citizen are given below

Scheme-2
Rent free Broadband connection under start up plan 250 ( Without monthly fixed charge
& Modem rental) will be provided to the Welfare Organization for Physically Handicapped.
All other parameters will be same as start up plan 250.
Eligibility for Scheme-2
a) To determine the Physically Handicapped persons, existing procedure for allotment of
Handicapped PCOs may be followed for sale of Sancharnet Account at discount price.
b) The Welfare organization for Physically Handicapped should be registered under the
Central/ W.B. Government |
