Web-hosting service allows customers to host their static or dynamic web-sites on BSNL servers. Web-hosting service shall have the following basic features  :

•     Web-space on servers for hosting HTML pages with browser supported MIME types.
•     Primary or Secondary Domain Name Hosting.
•     Server Side Scripting : Perl, Java Servelets, JSP.
•     Database Access : MySQL.
•     E-mail Access & Web-email.
•     Multiple E-mail IDs as per the Plan.
•     FTP Access for Uploading and Downloading pages as per the plan.
•     Continuous usage billing for Web, Messaging and FTP

Commercial Information

•   Availability of Application
    Application Forms will be available at the Customer Service Center of Telephone Bhawan.To get   application form you can click here
•   Receipt of Application Form
    Receipt of Duly filled Application Form will be done by CO(LD-II).
    CO(LD-II) will issue the demand bill which include the necessary charges.
•   Initial Payment
    Receipt of initial payment will be handled by AO(Cash/CS) at Telephone Bhawan.
•   Assignment of Account Head
    Account Head for booking money received will be finalised and intimated by DIR(TR).
•   Issue of Work Order
   On receipt of payment against demand bill CO(LD-II) will issue the necessary Work Order  which  will be sent to DE(Internet),AO(TR/CD).
•   Webhosting and Domain Registration
    DE(Internet) will get the content from the Customer and send the content  to DGM(SW) by   ftp / Physical transfer.Domain registration for the Customer will be done by the DE(Internet)   in Co-ordination with DGM(SW), Bangalore.
•   Billing and Charges
    Regular bill will be raised by AO(TR-LD) which will contain the annual rental. All paymeny   except   the initial payment will be received by Cash Collection Center at , 8, Hare   Street, Kolkata - 700 001.
