To send Message
Compose your message from 'Write / Compose' submenu of "Mail / Message" menu and send to the destination mobile number. Add +91 or 0 in front of the mobile number for sending messages to other cities in India (eg. +919868112345).

To read Message
You will be prompted with a beep sound if a new message arrives. Just read it going to the read menu.

Delivery of SMS is guaranteed by the system. If the called number is switched off or out of range during message send, message will be delivered as soon as the called number is switched on or enters coverage zone.

Note :
         The other conditions attached to SMS service are as under:

(i)      The maximum size of SMS remains 160 characters.

(ii)    There are no charges for receiving SMS in India to any subscriber – BSNL or roamers
         in BSNL network. There may be charges for out-roamers for receiving SMS while
         abroad – depends upon foreign operator.

(iii)   The charges in the table above are only for outgoing SMS.

(iv)   Service Tax extra, as applicable.
