You can avail national roaming facility if you subscribe with STD facility.
Mobile connection with STD facility requires a security deposit of Rs.2000.
You can have roaming facility without security deposit also.Please the tariff details for more information. Presently all India roaming is available for post paid connections only.

Q) How to get International Roaming Facility for CellOne Postpaid connection?
Ans: Fill up the prescribed Form & submit it with necessary documents to DE/CMTS, CTD, BSNL.

Q) Is there any Security Deposit to activate International Roaming facility in CellOne Postpaid ?
Ans: Yes, Rs. 7500/- ( For existing CellOne Postpaid subscriber additional amount has to be deposited to make security deposit as Rs.7500/-)

Q) Is there any Special SIM for International Roaming ?
Ans: Yes, Special type of SIM will be provided for International roaming subscribers, named Dual SIM.

Q)     How to use the Dual SIM ?
Ans:
       (i)   Insert the SIM in a mobile & switch on the Mobile Handset.
       (ii) Select "CellOne" Menu then Select "Network" Sub-Menu.
       (iii) Select "National" while subscriber is in India.
       (iv) Select "Internationl" while subscriber in Internationl Roaming.

Q) Do I need any special Mobile Handset for International Roaming ?
Ans: Except few countries normal Dual-Band mobile handset are sufficient. The following COUNTRIES require Tri-Band mobile handsets.

USA (AT&T, Pacific Bell Wireless, Powetel, Voicestream, Bell South Mobility); PUERTO RICA (AT&T); PARAGUAY (Hola) ; PERU (Tim) ; JAMAIKA (Digicell) ; CHILI (Telephonica); BARBADOSE (Digicell); BERMUDA (Telecom Bermuda, Mobility, AT&T); ANTIGUA & BARBUDA (APUA, AT&T); BOLVIA (Nuevatal, Entel); CANADA (Microcell, Rogers).

TARIFF FOR INTERNATIONAL ROAMING

(i) Monthly Rental Rs.99/-
(ii) Outgoing calls & SMS as charged by the selected network operator of the visited country. Detail        call tariff can not be given because of visited network tariff may vary time to time.
(iii) Charges for Incoming Calls [ w.e.f. 01.07.2004]
       a) In countries where charges are not levied - Rs. 40 per minute plus actual ILD charges            applicable in HPLMN.
       b) In countries where charges are levied - Actual amount charged in Foriegn countries plus            15% thereof plus actual ILD charges applicable in HPLMN.
(iv) Charges for calls made while international roaming will be levied by the network selected by         the BSNL post paid subscriber. BSNL will levy a surcharge of 15% on such amount and bill the         customer for the gross amount.
