A.  The telephone under this scheme is exclusively for Internet use.
B.  The scheme is applicable exclusively for students of class X and above and       not
      applicable to individual and commercial users.
C.  The outgoing facility is provided for 172xxx only.
D.  Rental will be Rs.99 per month.
E.  The Internet usage charges will be payable separately by the customer to the       concerned ISP.
      For use of Account Free Internet of BSNL, Calcutta Telephones through       172222, the ISP
      charges will be @10 paise per minute use and will be charged separately.
F.  Conversion of existing telephone is not allowed.
G.  Registration fee will not be taken for the month of April' 2004 only
H.  Annual Rental Deposit is Rs. 1000 will be adjusted
      from the ARD in first bill.(No installment is allowed).
I.    Telephone instrument will not be provided.
J.   The usage charge will @ 60 paise per call with duration as per existing peak       hour/off  peak hour
      rate.

Documents Required :

1.  Studentship verification : Attested copy of current mark sheet or Identity card
                                              or current receipt of tution fees or certificate from the
                                              Head of the Institution.

2.  Address verification  :   Any one of the following :
                                           Ration card, Voter identity card, Electricity bill( in the
                                           name of student or his parents) , Permission from Warden
                                           or Landlord ( in case the student stays in hostel or Guest house. )
