1.     What is IPTV?
        IPTV refers to a TV connection that has capacity to transmit all broadcast channels, Movies
        on Demand, Customer Live Request etc. through existing telephone line in the form of IP
        packets to and fro customer TV to content server.

2.    What is Content Server?
      Content Server is a server located at BSNL, Kolkata, which store all, broadcast channels,
      Movies, Music, Customer Request etc. and send video streaming to customer TV.

3.    How does IPTV work?
       The customer telephone line will be connected to ADSL2+ CPE through splitter. From CPE
       one Ethernet cable will go to PC for Internet and another Ethernet cable will o to the Smart
       Electronics Device. The output of Smart Electronics Device will be connected to your TV.

4.    What is Smart Electronics Device (SED)?
       The Smart Electronics Device (SED) is an electronic gadget, which contain all feature of Set
       Top Box and other advance features required for customer live interaction. e.g. video
       conferencing, Movie rewind, fast forward, stop movie etc.

       Yes, all can work simultaneously without any interference.

7.    Is broadband connection compulsory to avail IPTV?
       The BSNL Telephone Line is must, but broadband connection is not mandatory.

       The minimum bandwidth required is 4 Mbps per channel
