 Account Card Calling Service is an extension of the ITC concept. How to Use ACC ? - The ACC subscriber will dial the access code 1604-33 from any phone.
- The ACC subscriber will be prompted to dial in one go the account number (8 digits) followed by his/her PIN (4 digits). This has to be dialed in the tone mode.
- If validation of digits dialed is successful, the user will be prompted to dial his/her Choice as follows :
Dial 1 there will be another prompt to dial any destination number. He can dial local, STD or ISD according to the facilities opted during subscription to ACC. Dial 2 to modify his / her own PIN; a user can modify the PIN any number of times. Dial 3 to know your ACC credit balance amount.
Charging and Billing for ACC : - For calls made using ACC, the call charges are debited against the ACC account. No charge is levied against the phone line used for making calls using ACC. Call charge is calculated on the basis of Rs 1.20 per unit. Service tax would be extra.
- Billing records showing details of all calls made using ACC may be provided on ACC subscriber’s request.
- An ACC account once opened / renewed is valid for one year. As the balance goes down, an ACC account may be renewed by making fresh deposits.The ACC account no. will not change if renewed before expiry.
Who should use ACC ? Anyone who finds himself / herself to have become a heavy user of ITC; as ACC avoids the hassle of frequent purchasing of ITC cards. Also, since the PIN portion of ACC no. is user modifiable, security is even better than ITC. Follow the same Do-es & Don'ts for ACC as has been described above for the ITC. |
