Kolkata , May 19, 2007 : Dr Shakeel Ahmad, Hon’ble Minister
Of State (Communications & IT), Govt. Of India today formally
inaugurated FLPP (Fixed Line Prepaid) Service in Kolkata.
He also inaugurated the “CONVENTION CENTRE ”- a
conference venue of BSNL today. Dr. S K
Chakravarty, Chief General Manager, Calcutta Telephones ,
BSNL today delivered welcome address. Calcutta Telephones
already launched several promotional campaigns to enhance
CELLONE and BFONE customer base. Calcutta Telephones is planning
to launch the IPTV by June 2007 with attractive and affordable
tariff. Pre Paid Phone (FLPP) has been launched and a customer
can get a pre paid landline on payment of Rs. 600/- with 6
months validity. Purchase of FLPP Recharge voucher of Rs.100/-
along with the pre paid phone will give the customer talk
value of Rs.210/-. Earlier the FLPP service was introduced
in Kolkata for PCOs (Public Call Offices).
