The Telecom Engineering Centre, DOT, New Delhi have approved various EPABX models with different capacities for use as Subscriber owned EPABXs in DTS Network. Only TEC type approved EPABXs are permitted to be used. Provision of Extensions
Internal Extension : Rs 400 per annum
External Extension : No external extensions are permitted except with the approval of the Government.
Chargeable Distance up to 1 km :Rs 1400 per annum CD > 1 Km to 5 Km : Rental as at a) + Rs 800 p.a. per km for each additional Km or part beyond 1 Km CD > 5 Km : Rental as at b) + Rs 1500 p.a. per km for each additional Km or part beyond 5 Km ( CD = 1.25 x radial distance ) For subscriber owned group & Service Provider owned group PBXs (for office buildings, hotels etc.) Monthly rental charge Outgoing & Bothways junctions ( DELs) : same as for normal DELs for each DEL Incoming-only junctions: Same as for normal DELs span>with rebate of Rs 50 per month per i/c junction. Monthly rental for Junction Line Outgoing & Bothways junctions ( DELs) : Rs 310 per junction (DEL). Incoming-only junctions : Rs 260 per junction. Registration Charge : Rs 3000 per junction Installation Charge : Rs 800 per junction Call Charge : Rs 1.10 per call. No FREE calls. Security Deposit : Rs 5000 for each outgoing junction (non-interest bearing) or twice the average monthly bill averaged over previous 6 months whichever is higher. Bank guarantee for the equivalent amount is also acceptable. Charges for extension users Registration Fee : Rs 1000 (non interest bearing) to be adjusted with security deposit. Installation Charge : Rs 800 (max) Monthly rental charge : Rs 100 max. Security Deposit : Maximum equivalent to 12 months’ rental i.e. Rs 1200 (non-interest bearing. Call charge : Rs 1.10 per call unit. NO FREE calls
Charges for additional facilities : Addl. facilities like plug & socket, plan instrument etc. can be provided at the DTS rate. However, no external extension is permitted. Commission to Franchisee : Rates of Commission for each o/g junction ( DEL ) up to 10,000 calls :
20 paise per call unit. > 10,000 to 20,000 calls : 15 paise per call unit. > 20,000 calls : 10 paise per call unit. Centrex facility In some exchanges Centrex facility is available. Centrex is a feature in which a group of subscribers having DELs from the Exchange will get all the facilities of a PABX. The Subscriber group can have analogue and / or ISDN access. The group subscribers DELs may be from either the host switch and/or its RSUs. Tariff for Centrex - Registration fee, initial deposit, rental charge, installation fee etc. are the same as applicable for ISDN lines or DELs as the case may be.
- Additional one time charge of Rs 100 per line in the group for the Centrex feature.
- Calls within the Centrex group and / or its sub groups within the same SDCA are free.
- Calls to outside the Centrex group will be charged at the same rate as applicable for normal phone calls after allowing normal free calls for a DEL.
N.B. : All charges indicated are applicable for Calcutta Telephones or similar large exchage systems only. All rates mentioned are subject to change as per subsequent notifications.
