| In order to acknowledge the patronage
of the BSNL post paid mobile customers to BSNL and to ensure
the retention of these mobile connections and add more landlines
in the network, we have launched the Bandhan scheme
with the basic objective of bundling the post paid mobile
connections with landlines. The features of the scheme will
be as under :
The scheme is formulated in two parts-
a
. For those customers having no
landline connection
b
. For those customers having both landline
and post paid mobile connections .
For category 'a' i.e. for those
customers having no landline connection
1 .
The scheme is applicable for all existing post paid mobile
customers Calcutta
Telephones under any plan.
2 .
The customer will get a prepaid phone with validity 6
months against one time payment
of Rs. 600/- without any installation charge and security
deposit .
3 .
The calls from the post paid mobile connection of the
customer to this prepaid phone
will be free of cost . Calls to other phones will be
charged as usual. If the
said post paid mobile connection be on roaming , roaming
charges will be extra.
4 .
The scheme will not be applicable to any BSNL post paid
connections working
without monthly fixed charge under any other scheme.
5 .
The pre paid phone will be provided with a feature phone
.
For category 'b' i.e. for those customers having both
landline and post paid mobile connections .

The scheme is applicable for all existing post paid mobile
customers of Calcutta
Telephones
under any existing plan.
2 .
Customer having existing landline under prepaid
phone scheme will not be
allowed for Bandhan scheme.
3 .
The customers will get a new rent free landline connections
with incoming facility
only (PM category).
4 .
The O/G calls can be made by fixed line pre paid card.
5 .
The calls from the post paid mobile connection of the
customer to this rent free landline
will be free of cost. Calls to other phones will be
charged as usual. If the
said post paid mobile connection be on roaming , roaming
charges will be extra.
6.
The scheme will not be applicable to any BSNL post paid
connections working without
monthly fixed charge under any other scheme.
7.
If the landline connection is disconnected or surrendered
, the Bandhan facility between
the
post paid mobile connection and the rent free landline will
be withdrawn.
