Account free Instant internet is a new service offered by Calcutta Telephones, BSNL to the
customers with in the jurisdiction of Calcutta Telephones. The service is accessible from
any PSTN number by dialing access code 172-222

Any customer can access the Internet service of Sancharnet using dial up(PSTN) connection.
The customer need not have any Internet account from any ISP and can avail the Internet
by just dialing the Access code and supplying CLI (8 digits) of the telephone number as
Username and abcd as password.

The authentication of the access will be based on the CLI ( Calling Line Identification) of the
telephone from which it is accessed. Thus the service is hassle free and provides instant
Internet Access. The charging will be based on the duration of access and will be charged
in the telephone bill of the telephone on bi-monthly basis.

The service is only available in Calcutta Telephones area.
