Rent free Post paid Mobile connection "MANIK JOD" will be reintroduced for second occasion w.e.f. 20.08.2007. This scheme is applicable for PCO and Corporate Customers also. The salient feature of the scheme is as follows.  :

1)    The calls from Post paid mobile number to the landline of the customer is FREE.
2)    It is a BSNL landline linked scheme at par with Plan - 100 without
      a)    Fixed monthly charge
      b)    Security deposit (for Local / STD facility)
      c)    Activation charge
3)    Security deposit for ISD facility is chargeable
4)    Roaming charges will be extra as applicable
5)    "Excel Power Plan" is not applicable for Mobile connection under Manik Jod Scheme
6)    Eligibility Criteria  :
       In addition to General Landline Customers S. E. Category, Retired DOT / BSNL Employees, Pre-paid phone on payment of Security deposit like Cell One and FWT connection (due to non availability of landline).
Local,FLPP,STD/ISD PCO owner,connection against Telephone of Company/Society etc are eligible for the scheme.
7)   Non Eligibility Criteria  :
      Rent free FWT & Landline working as rent free connection.
      RSTC is not eligible for the scheme.
8)   Application Procedure 
      Same as that for Cell one except captioned “Manik Jod” on the top of application form with
     a)     a mandate form (with copy of paid landline bill of cycle March/April 2007)

     b)     a undertaking to pay as per plan-100 if landline is disconnected or surrendered.
9)   In case of landline connection installed after 31 st January 2007, the customer will have to
      apply to concerned area SDE (Marketing)
